Payment Options

Payments can be declined for many reasons. These can be for:
  1. Insufficient funds
  2. Fraud action from your bank
  3. Incorrect payment details
  4. Incompatibility or foreign currency accounts
One of the most frequent reasons is the fraud action taken by your bank as they might believe that the transaction might not be placed by you. This usually happens in unusual hours of the day were it can be more suspicious. We use a third party payment provider called Stripe and they also can block certain transactions if their system recognises the card as unsafe. More information can be found with Stripe.

If a charge is declined by your payment method, you may be temporarily unable to request orders. Your app will ask you to charge your outstanding balance to a payment method of your choice. If this payment method is declined, please add a new payment profile and try again. Reach out to your bank to ensure your payment method is valid.

You are unable to use cash as a payment method with Peyk at this moment. Keep updated for future updates.

Add a Payment Card

  1. Click on the Side Menu in the app
  2. Choose the Profile section (the first one)
  3. Select Payment
  4. Add your card in the designated section

Scan a Bank Card

  1. To scan a card, tap the camera icon. Your phone may ask permission for the Peyk app to use the camera.
  2. Center your card in your phone's screen so that all 4 corners flash green. Cards with embossed letters and numbers are typically easiest to scan.
  3. Enter the card's expiration date and CVV number.
  4. Tap SAVE

Manually type in your card details

  1. Enter your card number.
  2. Enter the expiration date and CVV number.
  3. Tap SAVE

Our payment platform supports VISA, Mastercard and American Express (AMEX).

Once an order is completed, you can rate and tip your Peyker with your desired amount. The payment will be taken off the bank card that was used for the order.

Even if you have a free trial or a 100% discount promotion code, it is necessary to have your payment card updated in the system due to security reasons and also, a payment card is necessary as the customer might face extra delay fee charges or wants to tip the Peyker at the end of the trip.

At this moment, unfortunately we do not support Paypal as a method of payment. We will keep you updated once it has been added.

Your account must have at least one payment method at all times. If you wish to delete your only payment method, you'll need to add a new one first. 1. Select profile from your side menu. 2. Choose the payment section. 3. Select the card you want to delete. 4. Click on the delete icon on the right hand side of the selected payment card.
