Emotional Disorders and Health Problems

Over 260 million people all around the world are suffering from emotional disorders. Two main kinds of emotional disease are stress and depression. These would cause health problems such as anxiety, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythm. There are some different definitions for the mentioned words but it would be better to rely on what Meriam Webster dictionary says.

Depression is defined as a mood disorder marked especially by sadness, inactivity, difficulty in thinking and concentration, a significant increase or decrease in appetite and time spent sleeping, feelings of dejection and hopelessness and sometimes suicidal tendencies. 

Causes:

Some people are too much worried about their health or getting ill most of the time which may cause stress. When you are going to move to a new place to live, changing your job, getting married or having a baby and all other changes for a lifetime would also cause stress or even depression. We are living in a world with a lot of different believes and religions, also some wars between nations were begun because of differences in believes. People are thinking most of the time about past bad events, death of people they care about and so on, all of the mentioned subjects would lead one to get stressed or depressed.

Signs:

How can you find out that you or other people are stressed out or depressed? There are some signs which can let you be aware of such an emotional disorder like:

  • Disorder in sleeping
  • Trouble in memory
  • Malnutrition
  • Easily get frustrated
  • Feeling weakness in doing something
  • Lack of confidence
  • Disorder in concentration
  • Being refused by others
  • Lack of motivation

The time you face a difficulty or a problem, the most important thing to do is to find the ways to overcome that issue. Here are some techniques and ways to get ride of these emotional disorders:
